Chihiro Kitagawa, President of Media Etc. established the agency in 1992. Through the help of her associates, Chihiro has built the reputation of the company through determination and perseverance. Chihiro oversees client services including advertising scheduling and budgeting, art direction, market research, copy writing and translation.

Prior to establishing Media Etc., Chihiro’s experience ranged from managing and becoming a buyer for House of Tiki, a retail boutique, in Nagoya, Japan to translating legal documents for the law firm of Damon Key Bocken Leong Kupchak in Honolulu.

Her experience with PR Japan (Honolulu) provided the opportunity to pursue her interest in graphic design and advertising. Chihiro studied Graphic Design, Fine Art and Photography at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. She also completed the ESL Program at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
